When our mind full of rushing and urging during our practice,
simply back to our practice, e.g. Mindfulness of Breathing, Recollection on the Buddha, Loving-kindness Meditation etc..
That is the only way
to get rid of our
rush and urge.
If not,
we will increase our avarice; and
whenever our greedy mind is no fulfilled,
we will probably be angry ——
self-criticize that we are not lucky enough, or
assuming and blaming all outer conditions for restricting our practice.
However, we never realized that
the main obstacle is within us,
which is our rushing and urging mind.
Hence, just
no rushing,
no urging,
keep relax, and
be mindful on our practice.
We will not only rejoice with our practice,
but also seizing the core of practice.
只要我們「急」與「求」的時候,務必讓思緒單單純純的回到用功方法上——如安般念、佛隨念、慈心禪等等。
那是遠離「急」與「求」的最有效方法。
不遠離「急求心」,只會增加「貪心」;急求不得時,又會生起「瞋心」——生氣(責怪)自己福報不夠或生氣外在人事物干擾自己的修行。
殊不知,一切的障礙都是由自己的「急」與「求」在作怪。
不急、不求,放鬆、正念地用功,不僅可以感受修行的法喜,而且還能真正把握修行的要領。
